The Europe Central Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced leadership changes among the Area Organization Advisers. Sister Cybele Liebard has been released from her assignment as an Area Organization Advisor to serve with her husband as mission leaders over the Paris North Mission from the 1 July 2026.
Sister Christel Decaudin, from France, has been called to serve as a new Area Organization Adviser beginning 24 March 2026.
“I feel truly blessed to be called to serve the women of the Europe Central Area. Serving each other is a sacred duty and a privilege from our Heavenly Father. He knows who we are and our potential. We are His beloved daughters, women of the covenant, called to do great things in this world, wherever we are and whatever our circumstances in life,” Sister Decaudin said.
Christel Decaudin was born near Paris, France. She and her husband have been married for 20 years and live in Besançon, France, in the Lausanne Switzerland Stake. She works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
At the time of her call, Sister Decaudin had served in a variety of Church callings, including Stake Young Women President, ward Young Women leader, Relief Society and Primary president and counselor, Sunday School teacher for both youth and adults, FSY couple teacher with her husband, and ward pianist.
“The doctrine of Jesus Christ, as found in the holy scriptures and taught by His prophets, is the answer to our deepest concerns. Our Savior needs holy women everywhere to lift up, teach, bless, lead and testify of His name. His love has no limits, and no one is beyond His reach,” she said.
Area Organization Advisers assist local leaders of the Church’s children’s, youth and women`s organizations and typically serve for three years in this role. Besides providing orientation and support for newly called organization presidencies, they also help leaders to engage in God’s Work of Salvation and Exaltation. Area Organization Advisers serve under the direction of the Area Presidency and in coordination with the Church’s general officers.
