Across Europe this week, three global Christian leaders met with communities to listen, encourage, and learn. Their messages, rooted in following Jesus, building friendships across faiths, and trusting the rising generation, were delivered in public gatherings where friends of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and members sat side by side.

Starting today, we’re invited to pause and reflect—to restart, re-evaluate, and consider what truly matters in our lives. The Easter story of Jesus Christ speaks of forgiveness, renewal, and new beginnings that are always possible. Wherever we are and whatever we face, His life and example offer hope, healing, and a way forward—one step at a time.

As his ministry in Europe nears completion, Elder Gérald Caussé of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, accompanied by his wife, Valérie, visited the Paris France Temple on Thursday and Friday, February 26-27, 2026. They participated in sacred ceremonies, visited with patrons and leaders of the temple, and met with new members of the Church along with journalists at the Paris Temple Visitors’ Center.

In France, where many do not believe in God or belong to a religion, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is growing.

Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints visited Bucharest, Romania, on Sunday, where he spoke to more than 600 people gathered for a national conference.
