President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, met with German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin and dedicated new stake centers in Salzburg, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic, during a recent ministry visit to Europe Central with his wife, Harriet.
There were 24 enthusiastic Young Single Adults that were members and friends of the church that gathered in Kocaeli, Türkiye for an enriching event to encourage them to “Arise and Shine in His Light”. They all had to ‘arise’ early to catch planes, buses or trains to arrive at the Ness Thermal Hotel to join in the 4 day weekend event.

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced changes to age-group names for young women. The purpose of the new names is to “help young women understand their divine place in God’s work, to represent their spiritual dignity as His beloved daughters, and to highlight their progression.”
